Super-Cut-Pop
is an exclusively manufactured product of the Bosley
Company, for value engineering. Super-Cut is an engineered,
solid wood product that cuts, paints, and nails like
poplar, while exceeding the durability of poplar. We
have over 100 profiles in our standard Super-Cut catalog
available, while, in addition, creating countless custom
profiles for our customers.
The
true value of this product is found in cost savings.
Even custom profiles, which may require tooling,
are available at a savings of 20 to 60 percent
the expense of the same profile in solid poplar.

FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS
Please
use high solids acrylic primer, as we do not recommend
water-based primer. After priming, most woods have a rising
of the grain, where wood fiber can occur, and should be removed
before proceeding with the next step.
After priming and before the next coat of paint, use a Scotch
Brite pad to knock off the fuzz. We recommend 3M #7447 pads.
If sanding is required, use 220 grit or higher.
Baseboard flat areas and D4S are ready for a coat of paint.
Only the milled area of the profile is where you prime and
Scotch Brite.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Super-Cut-Pop
should be laid flat on 2 x 4’s off the
floor, in a dry area. Just like wood moulding, humidity and
temperature controls should be met prior to installation.
Store materials indoors, in ventilated areas, with a constant
but minimum temperature of 60 degrees Fahrenheit, and maximum
relative humidity of 35 to 55 percent. Maintain interior
installation areas at 70 degrees Fahrenheit, and 50 to 55
percent relative humidity.
